Overview:

The Attach Drawing/Document feature of the ‘Laser Quote Fast’, Create Parts Fast window.

 

To attach a drawing to the ‘Create Parts Fast’ window.

Open the Quotes Module and click on the “Laser Quote Fast” option to open the ‘Create Parts Fast’ window.

Enter the relevant information for this part. When ready to attach the drawing, click the box and click on the View/Attached File button, the ‘Update Drawing Files’ window appears. Click on the line for the Description and type in a description for the drawing, press <TAB> to advance to the Rev field and enter code if necessary. Press <TAB> to advance to the Filename field and press <F2> to browse your computer data to find the required drawing. Click on the drawing/document to highlight and click on Open. The file is now attached to the record. Click on to make this drawing available for viewing for the Parts Details window on the More Info tab. Once the Update button has been utilised the ‘Add Drw’ tick box will be un-ticked. This changes the function of the of the View/Attach File button.

 

 

To view the attached drawing/document, click on the View/Attach File button and the drawing or document will open for viewing.

 

To remove a drawing from the record, click in the tick-box to un-tick this box.

 

To print the drawing, click on the Print this Drawing button to open the ‘Print Table Data’ window. Customise the Parts List report by ticking and un-ticking the tick-boxes by clicking on the relevant box. Click on Preview to review your report, and then click on Print.
