Overview:
iTMS can separate purchased material and NCR labour costs for current jobs. A workcenter is created for NCR work to separate the cost of work in the job cost summary.
Setup an NCR workcenter
Open the Core Data module and click on the ‘Workcenters’ icon to open the ‘Workcenter Details window. Type in a code and the Description for the NCR Workcenter and enter the cost rates for the workcenter. Click in the “QA-NCR Only” box to tick, press <F9> to save.
Purchasing NCR material
When placing a purchase order for material for NCR work ensure the “Purchase for NCR ONLY” box is ticked so that the material will be identified separately in the job costing.
The job control sheet will show the materials purchased against the job for NCR.
The job’s costing will now reflect the cost of the job and the cost of the NCR work separately.
