Invoice_Export > Update Client Details from MYOB

Overview:

iTMS has a feature to enable any changes to a client’s details may be imported into ITMS from MYOB. This enables the user to only have to make changes in MYOB and may be used for a single client or a number of clients. The user will need to have permission and an internal employee password for ITMS to utilise this feature. Note: Ensure that both MYOB and ITMS are running to successfully update of client details.

In MYOB, open the client’s card file and edit details as required, ensure that all necessary fields are correct and complete and then click on OK. Note: The iTMS Client Detail window is shown for illustration purposes only to display the changes.

Open the Invoice Export module. Click on the green money icon in the top right corner to open the back menu. Click on the ‘Import Clients from MYOB’ icon.

The ‘iTMS-MYOB Client Import’ window is generated with the client data. Click on the client that the user wishes to update and then click on the Select button. A message appears, click on the Yes button.

The selected client is highlighted, now click on the Options button, located at the bottom left of the window.

The ‘iTMS-MYOB Import Options’ window opens - Ensure to click on the “Update Option” tab, as you only want to update the client’s detail, the user may have to wave the cursor over the tab to generate the options.

The user does is not required to select or deselect options on the “Update Options” tab as any details that are different between MYOB and iTMS for this client will be updated with the details from MYOB. Click on the OK button and enter your employee number in the blue “Emp No” field and click on the Import button.

The update runs its course and then a message appears to say the update was successful, click on OK.

Click on the Close button to complete the process. The client details in iTMS now match the details in MYOB.
